Dreaming

In January 2009 Eric started work at Daxko and we were delighted that a perk benefit was a one month sabbatical to all employees after 7 years of employment. In 2009, seven years seemed like a life time away for us. Then we had Sydney in May of 2008 and life seemed to move at warp speed. Jump to February of 2012, with the birth of our son Emmett, and the calendar months are so full of events, traveling and love that we are just trying to keep it together with two busy kids. Sometime last year, Eric brought up that he could take his sabbatical anytime in the next year. If you know me well then you know that a flood of ideas and dreams came into my mind.

As a family we love camping and hiking and visiting National Parks. We have already visited 5 together; Great Smoky Mtns. NP, Mammoth Cave NP, Cuyahoga NP, Everglades NP and Biscayne Bay NP. We decided upon an epic National Park adventure, that would take us out west for some amazing memories. We hope you will enjoy traveling with us through this blog on this epic adventure.
